Tolu Adewole (RCC #21333)
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), and a highly qualified and compassionate social services professional with over a decade of experience in human services, clinical counselling, supported housing, and addiction services. I am currently working toward my CCC, and RP designations, as well as EMDR certification. I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the CRPO, a professional member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA), and a student member of the BC Association of Clinical Counselors. My goal is to become a fully Registered Psychotherapist with the CRPO, and EMDR certified by mid-2026.
I am a Clinical Counsellor dedicated to providing trauma-informed support for individuals and families facing emotional and relational challenges. My approach is rooted in empathy, safety, and empowerment, helping each person feel heard, understood, and supported on their journey to healing. With experience managing a supportive housing program, I also bring expertise in navigating crises and coordinating care, ensuring that the support I provide is both compassionate and practical.

I specialize in trauma recovery, relationship challenges, and mental health support, providing personalized and holistic approaches to help individuals and families build resilience and well-being. My work incorporates Somatic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and the Gottman Method, and I am also working toward developing competency in EMDR.
For clients who desire it, I offer Christian-based counselling, integrating faith-informed perspectives with clinical practice in a respectful and compassionate manner.
